To use makeup tools properly and utilize its function to the best it is necessary to understand the dynamics of that tool. The more you have the understanding of the tool, the more efficiently you can use it. Most of the people struggle with the basic tool which are BRUSHES it is because of the fact that there are different number of brushes present in the market each one of them have different function.

Choosing the right tool for prefect look, is the most crucial part. The whole look can be disaster if your foundation is not blended well or eyeshadows are not fused with perfection. Some basics brushes with their functions are mentioned below:

FOUNDATION BRUSH:

As the name suggests the function of this brush is to blend the foundation on your skin. Choosing the right brand and type for this brush makes all the difference in the world. If the pick of this brush is incorrect then your foundation will not blend properly and will give you cakey and washed over look. There are following types of foundation brushes:

  • POINTED FOUNDATION BRUSH or TAPERED FOUNDATION BRUSH

BLUSH BRUSH:

A blush brush beside being used for application of blush it is also useful for contouring purpose.

This brush is used to dust finishing powder or powder blush. It can also be used to obtain soft, airbrushed effect.

BLENDER BRUSH:

The brush can be used for dry and wet products. The brush can be used to blend eyeshawdows as well.

SHADER BRUSH:

This brush is used to apply concealer

BROW BRUSH:

Brow brush is for making a perfect shape of brows. It is a tick bristle brush that comes in different physical manner it could either be in the form of mascara comb or in a angled brow brush.
