MINIMALISM : AN ART OF BETTER LIVING?

We are living in times where we find ourselves inclined towards material things. This human urge to acquire the better of every best thing out there is from the beginning. To satisfy ourselves we buy some unnecessary stuff that remains unused in our closets or storage space for years. These unused articles cause undesired clutter at your home. Sometimes, it’s not the new stuff that we purchase but also the old one that we hold dear to ourselves. The emotional value that stuff holds make is harder to discard it. Here is a simple guide that will help you discard unnecessary stuff and also introduce you to the art of MINIMALISM.
The idea of minimalism is not new, its been in existence for quite a long time. The purpose of minimalism is not just to get rid of the unnecessary stuff but at the same time, it helps you to organize yourself.
The questions that come to our mind now is that,
  1. How we can de-clutter our stuff?
  2. How can we prioritize the importance of the stuff we own?
  3. And most important which stuff to get rid of?
Well, these are just simple questions with relatively simple answers as well. If you have prioritized your stuff according to your needs and want then the remaining questions are just a simple task. If you find it hard to categorize your stuff then we can help you with that as well by highlighting the main key point that you need to consider before making the decision to keep or discard the stuff.
The main key point or the rule to follow is to decide which stuff is to keep and what is to discard simple. All you need is to make two categories of the stuff. One that you are sure about and other the one you are not sure to keep. Put every article under “MAYBE” (not sure stuff) in a box and keep it away for a few months. If you don’t feel to retrieve any of the stuff from that box then it’s time to let go of those things.
I hope this article on minimalism helped you to declutter your stuff. Do share your feedback with us in the comments section. I would love to hear your journey towards minimalism.
