Last month the death of the Riverdale star left the work in shock. Luke perry at the age of 52 died due to a stroke. He was one of the prominent character in Riverdale. The whole fartenity and fans mourned at this loss.
Riverdale aired the last episode featuring Luke Perry on Wednesday. The episode was a bittersweet affair as one could imagine. The last appearance of the star was made in the episode titled “Chapter Fifty- Four: Fear the Reaper.” Peery’s character Fred Andrews was seen having a heart to heart conversation with his son Archie. The conversation was to console Archie who lost his friend, Randy while fighting with him in the ring. Although it was not his fault, the death was caused by the drugs he took prior to fight.

“Son, from everything you’ve said, it’s clear that Randy died from those drugs,” Fred tells Archie. “An autopsy will support that. You’re innocent.”
“I’m not, dad. I knew,” Archie replies. “I knew Randy was using. I could have stopped the fight, but I didn’t want to forfeit. I’m never stepping into that ring ever again.”
In this last scene with the most comforting words Luke Perry was again portrayed as the most caring and loving father. He totally did justice with the role with his emotions and remarkable acting skills.
This was the final episode of Perry’s on the show, it is still not confirmed that how Fred’s story will end in the show. After the death Luke Perry on March 4 this year, Aguirre-Sacasa has mentioned that the cast and crew is still struggling to come to terns with the death of the star.
“You know, honestly, we are I think all still in shock and are all still processing and grieving,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “We know that we have to address it in some way, but we’re giving ourselves a little bit of time and space before we figure out the best way to honor him.”
