Disney’s classics have always been my favourite movies to watch. Recently, Disney have recreated many of its classics. Aladin being one of them. The classic story revolves around a boy who found ginnie trpped in a lamp. The life of boy tured around after he found the trapped ginnie. in the classic movie the role was bought into the life by the famous Robin Williams in 1992 in an animated Disney movie.
The initial teaser of the movie was showcased at The Golden Globes 2019 which featured Smith’s blue-skinned look. The first look was not much appreciated by the public and they made many negative comments about it.
Recently, the actor came forward and responded in the following words about the comments made by the public.
“It was very funny,” Smith said. “There was a Sonic The Hedgehog / Genie frog. Everything is under such critical scrutiny. I came up in an era where there was no Internet. It’s a new thing that I’m trying to get a handle on.”
However, the initial full-length trailer that was launched in March won back the heart of the public and changed their prespective about the movie.
“It even came with apologies from the cynics who were so adamant initially,” director Guy Ritchie told the outlet. “I’ve never seen apologies in that world. I thought, ‘Oh well, great, we’re back to where I’d hoped we’d be.’”
The movie will hit the cinemas screens on MAY 24. Are you ready to see the magical world of Aladin this May.
