OAT AND ICE CREAM SMOOTHIE

I have always belonged to the tribe of people who are unable to gain weight. Despite of countless struggles and persistant efforts of eating fatening food and hitting gym, the end result was nothing. Consuming high fatening diet is not a good option to gain weight as it can result into many dieases in future. The dieases can be associated with heart. As the consumption of  high fatening diet increases the colestrol levels.

I came across a smoothie that can increase your weight in a healthy manner. The smoothie is simple and easy to make. It have all the ingredients that can be easily found in kitchen. Those ingredients are oat, milk and ice cream. These are the basic ingredients. You add sesonal fruits to it like mangos, strawberries or bananas. To make the smoothie sweet you can add honey.

Benefits of oats:

Oats are rich in carbohydrates and fiber. They also contains definite amount of minerals, proteins and vitamins. Oats are also riched in anti-oxidants that helps to reduces blood pressure. When it comes to healthy skin  oats are the one component that can give you  benefit. Oats being highly riched in anti-oxidants hepls you to undo the damage that is caused by UV rays.

Milk is enriched in calcium that is good for providing you strong teeth and bones. It is also considered as a source of proteins that helps you build energy levels. The lactic acid in the milk helps to reduce pigmentation. It also heals the acne.

Ice cream being the dairy product gives the same benefit as that of milk.

You will need,

  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1/2 liter milk
  • ice-cream according to your taste (any falvour but I prefer chocolate)

Boil oats in milk. Add all the ingredients in the blender and blend them together. You can also add some seasonal fruits and honey if you like your smoothie sweeter. Once all the ingredients are blended pour the smoothie into the glass.
