Disney is all set to make another remake of its famous classic. This time Bambi’s reboot will be hitting your screens, according to Variety. The details of the remake are not public yet but so far it has been put into light that screenwriter’s Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel) and Lindsey Beer (Sierra Burgess Is a Loser) have been tapped to write the screenplay of the 1942 animated feature, with Chris and Paul Weitz’s Depth of Field producing
Like Disney’s The Jungle Book and The Lion King, the remake will have the same CGI (Computer Generated Imagery). The story of the remake will be the same as that of the classic, where the young deer Bambi makes friends with a skunk and rabbit and experiences tragedy when the mother dies. This is another classic from Disney for the live-action and we can’t wait to watch it too.
