WHY MAKEUP REMOVING IS IMPORTANT?

It is very important to remove makeup before going to bed. It can cause damage to your skin during night. The skin renews itself while you sleep, and when you leave makeup on, you are preventing that from happening. The skin stops to breathe and fatigue signs start to appear.

As most makeup is made of oily substances, when it stays on for the night, it clogs your pores and leads to the appearance of more acne and blackheads breakouts.

Makeup residue can cause many of oily substances, when it stays on for the night, it clogs your pores and leads to the appearance of more acne and breakouts.

Makeup residue can cause many skin imperfections when left for hours on end during the night. That’s why it is important to use a makeup remover before going to bed.

A quick way to clean off all your makeup residue, dirt, and oil, after a long tiring day, is to use Cotton Pads with Garnier Micellar Water or any Oil.

I have tried many different ways to check if the makeup can be taken off with one step. There are few steps which take off your makeup completely.

  • Using Cleansing gel/cream
  • Using a Micellar Water
  • Using Exfoliator (if needed)
  • Mask/Moisturizer

Start with a makeup removing cream or cleansing cream/gel by applying it on your face and neck in a circular motion and wipe it off with a cotton pad. If you have oily skin use a gel cleanser and if you have a dry or combination skin you can use a cream cleanser. If you don’t have any cleansing cream use Coconut oil or Olive oil especially if you have dry skin.

Next step,

Clean your face with Garnier, Bioderma or any Micellar Water. Wash your face with any gentle face wash or Micellar facewash.

Exfoliate with a gentle scrub if you feel there is still makeup on your face and apply the mask in the end.

If you don’t need to exfoliate just apply your moisturizer or night cream before going to bed.

Please do not use makeup wipes unless you have nothing to take it off, as it damages your skin.

Always read and check your skin type before buying. Do share your feedback with us in comments.
