Kylie Jenner officially makes it to the list of youngest self-made billionaire leaving Mark Zuckerberg behind. She is listed as the World’s youngest self-made billionaire by Forbes this year. The 21 year old is not only the youngest but first youngest female to made to the list. The Kylie cosmetics, beauty products company was alone estimated the worth of 900 million dollars. The Kylie cosmetics owner have crossed this mark at the age of 21, beating Mark Zuckerberg who crossed it at the age of 23. Forbes revealed that Kylie is about to hit the milestone of being the youngest billionaire by realizing the America’s Richest Self-made Women issue last year.

KYLIE JENNER- SELF-MADE BILLIONAIRE CONTROVERSY:

Kylie, is the youngest member of the famous Karadashian Family. The youngest billionaire was criticised for being called ” self-made billionaire”. Giving the title of “self-made” to the member of infamous Karadashian Family faced backlash on Twitter, with tweets like:

“Ah Kylie Jenner, those days getting up at 5 a.m to deliver the paper in the snow, saving every nickle!”

Another one saying:

“Can someone explain to me how Kylie Jenner is SELF-MADE? Hardworking, sure, but certainly not self-made.”

Even dictionary.com added to the topic by saying:

” Haven’t we gone over this?

Self-made: Having successed in life unaided.”

However, Luis, Assistant Managing Editor, Forbes cleared up the things by informing the criteria of choosing a self-made billionaire for Forbes. She added to her explaination that all the billionaires are categorized on the scale of 1 to 10. The people who fall under Scale 1, are the ones who inherit money from their parents and does not invest it in any business. On scale 10 comes Oprah Winfrey, who made herself billionaire from nothing. Considering the criteria mentioned, Kylie Jenner falls on scale 7.
