KARL LAGERFELD DEATH: THE END OF AN ERA

The name Karl Lagerfeld is not unknow to us. The German courturier died at the age of 85. The corcerns about his health were already in the air. As he missed the Chanel Haute Couture spring/summer 2019 in January. Virginie Viard, Director of Creative Studio of the house then represented him at the event and greeted the guests. He was an avid observer who notices minute details in everything in his surrounding and convert it into a beautiful artwork.

“I get bored very easily. The thought of spending my life reworking the same theme over and over again is a nightmare”, he told the Guardian in 1985

WHO WAS KARL LAGERFELD ?

Karl Lagerfeld is the name that reigned the fashion industry for almost seven decade. Karl belonged to a wealthy family of Germany. At the mere age of 14, he moved to Paris to create his name in the Fashion Industry. And he managed to embarked his name on the world of high class luxury. Karl Lagerfeld, not only marked his name but also ruled the fashion industry for 7 decades. Ever fashion trend faded with time but the elegance and style of Karl remained constant. He was considered as a pioneer of Fashion. At the age of 85, Karl was creative head of three most well- know fashion brands, Channel, Fendi and his own lable.  Apart from being an unbeatable name as a fashion designer he was also a great photogragher, Director and Artist. It would’t be wrong to say that Karl is a legend and a source of inspiration for people to follow their dreams with passion and devotion .
